Welcome back! Can you believe we got the first games in without a drop of rain? It was a beautiful sunny day today, though apparently the wind was pretty ferocious. I think they aerated and sanded last week so add that to the challenges. Kudos to Judy and Mami for their chip-ins this week.
Another great week of weather, yeah. No chip ins this week, despite the good turn out.
Congrats to all the Saturday players for persevering! And an honorable mention to the scorekeepers who didn’t turn in mangled, decrepit cards. I’m sure it was a challenge. Again, we have no chip ins this week. Next week is the first round of our first major of the season, the Brookridge Memorial. I am sure everbody’s game has reached peak form by now and is totally ready to crush it. Best of luck everyone.
Woo hoo, we got another round in despite the dodgy weather forecast. Kudos to our intrepid ladies for finishing up before it started to sprinkle. And kudos to those with chip ins this week: Kathy, Patti and Linda B. Something was going on today, we had five 10s on the scorecards, and no flight was immune! Always a humbling experience.
As Louise mentioned, we didn’t have enough players this week to reach 5 minimum for tournament. Tuesday got switched to Monday for a Dyker outing and Saturday was an SIWGA event that draws a lot of us from Dyker. No chip ins this week but shout out to Patti for her low gross round.
Whoa! To quote Dorothy: Toto, I have a feeling we not in Kansas any more. That wind was brutal today. Welcome back snowbirds! Nice to see you all coming back. Kudos to Nancy and Patti for their chip ins this week, I believe Patti’s was a sandy too.
